As a family-owned business, Blue Duck Hair Salon prides themselves in treating every customer like family, and providing professional hair care along with great product options. Do I need an appointment or do you accept walk-ins?
We welcome both! Appointments are highly recommended to guarantee your preferred time and stylist, but we do our best to accommodate walk-ins when availability allows.
How can I book an appointment?
You can book online through our website or call the salon directly.
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another guest.
What services do you offer?
We provide a full range of services including haircuts, coloring, highlights, balayage, styling, blowouts, treatments, extensions, and special occasion hair.
Do you offer consultations before booking?
Yes! Complimentary consultations are available and highly recommended for new clients or major changes such as color corrections or extensions.
Do you offer gift cards?
Absolutely! Gift cards are available in-salon and make the perfect gift for any occasion.
Do you accept credit cards and tips?
Yes! We accept all major credit cards and cash. Tips are always appreciated and may be given in cash or added to your card.
How often should I get my hair cut or colored?
Most guests benefit from a haircut every 6–8 weeks and color maintenance every 6–10 weeks, depending on your style and hair type.
Why We Ask for a Card on File When Booking Appointments
At Blue Duck Hair Salon, we kindly ask all guests to have a card on file in order to reserve an appointment.

We understand some of our long-time clients may wonder why this is required, especially if you’ve been coming to see us for many years. Please know this policy applies to everyone, whether you have been a guest for 20 years or are visiting us for the very first time. Being consistent is the only fair way to protect our stylists and their time.

Having a card on file is not a new policy for us. It has been part of our booking and cancellation policy for several years. What is new is our updated system, which makes it much easier and more secure for clients.

You can now add your card privately through your phone, without needing to read your card number over the phone to our front desk.

Your card is only used if our cancellation policy is not followed, such as missed appointments or late cancellations. This policy helps protect our stylists from lost income and allows us to offer appointment times to other guests who may be waiting.

We kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our stylists’ time and our cancellation policy. Your cooperation helps us continue providing the best experience possible for all of our guests.
